Anesthesia Management in Pregnancy with Heart Disorder using Walking Epidural Analgesia (WELA)

<p><strong>Background</strong>: Heart disease in pregnancy is one of the leading causes morbidity and mortality childbirth. The intrapartum postpartum periods are critical which most deaths occur this period. Manifestations appear form heart failure increases maternal fetal mortality.</p><p><strong>Case Illustration</strong>: We will report a case 23-year-old woman with diagnosis G2P0A1 H 40 weeks, single live intrauterine fetus congestive due to rheumatic mitral stenosis.</p><p><strong>Conclusion</strong>: patient successfully underwent spontaneous labor under anesthesia facilitated by walking epidural analgesia (WELA) technique levobupivacaine fentanyl agents were administered continuously using syringe pump during process.</p>
